Natural Paint from the Earth
We create Earth Paints using eco-friendly, natural pigments, millions of years in the making. Harvested from the earth, the naturally colored clay is dried, crushed and sifted into pure pigments. The vibrancy and luminosity of these natural paints are unsurpassed for creating deeply saturated colors. We offer both our professional, eco-friendly Earth Oil Paint Kit for artists and water soluble Children’s Earth Paint Kits.
Our Earth Oil Paint Kit creates a very pure, high quality, and non toxic oil paint that is free of fillers, extenders, preservatives and heavy metal toxins that are often added to commercially manufactured paint. It contains the equivalent of 6 medium tubes of oil paint making it very economical and superior quality to boot. The vibrancy and luminosity of these natural paints are unsurpassed because of the irregular pigment particle size allowing light to filter through them and create very saturated paint. Learn more

Natural Paint Colors
Natural Earth Pigments were the earliest recorded materials used by our ancestors to make all natural paint, and their use pre-dates recorded history. Starting at least 100,000 years ago, ancient people from all over the world, including Egyptians, Native Americans, ancient Buddhists, Medieval monks, and Renaissance masters, used earthen pigments to make their natural paint colors. They ground earthen clays and minerals and mixed them with a binder such as honey, blood, tree sap, grease, or oil. Our Earth Oil Paint Kit is essentially the same in that you can make many different types of paint if you mix in different binders. This eco oil paint was eco before the term was invented and we are simply bringing back a forgotten tradition.
