Within this box of Earth Paints are natural earth pigments that may be millions of years old. This colored clay was collected from the earth, dried, crushed, and sifted into pure pigment. This paint is a very high quality, has much greater UV resistance and longevity than synthetic paints, and it yields a rich, luminous luster on the canvas. This paint can be used on canvas, wood, primed paper and any surface that regular oil paint is used on. What sets this kit apart from regular tube oil paints is it’s lack of any preservatives, fillers, heavy metals or toxins. The kit includes the equivalent of 6 medium sized tubes of professional quality oil paint – very economical.

This kit contains:

• Six colors of pure earth pigments (red ochre, orange ochre,  yellow ochre, green earth, blue earth, burnt umber- 3 oz. of each) *when mixed with oil, each packet makes 45 ml. of oil paint = medium sized tube (Great Value- atleast $20 savings over 6 regular tubes))
• One bottle of refined walnut oil (to mix with the pigment)
• An Earth Paints booklet  * includes mixing instructions, tips on eliminating all toxins from the oil painting process, a brief history of earthen paints, and more.
